Robert J. Carroll, Chairman of the Board

Robert J. Carroll was appointed Chairman of the Board of NovusEdge Corporation in November 2005. Prior to his appointment he served as a director of AMX Corporation from January 2001. Mr. Carroll was appointed Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of AMX in November 2001. After assuming operational responsibility Mr. Carroll began re-engineering the company that was on the verge of bankruptcy with a $12M market cap. After a successful turnaround the company was sold In April 2005 for $315M cash. Prior to his appointment as AMX Chairman, Mr. Carroll served as Chairman and CEO of BEI Holding Corporation from August 1998 to March 2001. From April 1994 through the present, Mr. Carroll has been a Principal in Roscommon Limited, a technology investment and consulting practice providing specialized support in turnarounds, acquisitions, and divestitures. Mr. Carroll has over twenty-five years operational experience with technology companies engaged in software and hardware manufacturing.

Wayne Alexander

Wayne Alexander retired as president of SBC Communications in 2002 after a distinguished 32-year career. During his time at SBC, Mr. Alexander held a variety of executive positions in network operations, sales, marketing, and international operations.

Jeffrey P. Blanchard

Jeffrey P. Blanchard has more than 20 years of experience in venture capital and private equity investing. He is the founder and managing member of First Capital Group, a venture capital and private equity investment firm with over $150 million in institutional funds under management.

Charles L. “Chip” Davis

Chip Davis serves as Managing Director and Head of the Technology Group at Sanders Morris Harris. He is a General Partner of SMH Private Equity Group. Mr. Davis joined Sanders Morris Harris in 1991 and specializes in investing of software companies and networking equipment and service providers. Mr. Davis is currently a board member or board observer of several companies including: NovusEdge, Wayport, Syntex Management Systems, RigNet, World Telemetry, CPO Commerce, and Lombardi Software and previously worked with such companies as InfoCure, Tyler Technologies, IndX Software, and Baseball Express. Mr. Davis is a graduate of Washington & Lee University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

David McLean

David McLean joined Sevin Rosen Funds as a General Partner in 2004.  He is a 20-year veteran of the semiconductor and networking industry and has a wealth of operating experience from both established and early-stage companies.  Prior to joining Sevin Rosen, Mr. McLean was the CEO of Cicada.

Ron Nash

Ron Nash serves as a partner in the Dallas office of InterWest Partners, a technology venture capital firm headquartered in Silicon Valley. He has led large information technology companies as well as start-up firms, and his experience includes successful tenures with Perot Systems and EDS.
